As a Cocktail Server at TAP Sportsbar, you will play a crucial role in enhancing guest experiences through exceptional service and a friendly demeanor. By engaging with guests and understanding their individual preferences, you will craft unforgettable moments that will leave a lasting impression, ensuring they carry fond memories of their time with us long after they leave.

STARTING PAY: $8.75 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take order, and serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Place order, and garnish and serve cocktails to guests
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment to include fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Knowledge of beverages on menu, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes
• Highly motivated and energetic personality
• Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
• Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
