Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) in our White Oak Medical Center! We are offering sign- on bonuses up to $15,000 for candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience.

We're seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Wound Care RN you will:
• Develop a plan of care according to the patient population.
• Identify impending changes in patient condition accurately and initiates corrective action.
• Mentors students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conducts purposeful rounding from patient and family perspectives.
•Serve as a change agent to translate and integrate evidence into practice; to design and evaluate care and improve outcomes.
• Establishes strategic plan, provides resources and has a clear vision for specialty/service line.
• Functions as a wound and ostomy consultant and treatment provider.
• Uses appropriate teaching principles and strategies to teach healthcare professionals.
• Recommends specific programming to build clinical skill set of staff.
• Collaborates with providers and staff to develop plans of care and treatment regimens for wound/ostomy management.

Qualifications include:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid Maryland RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Wound Care experience required
• WCON certification preferred or eligibility to sit for certification within first year
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Outpatient Wound and Hyperbaric Center

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm, No Weekends, No Holidays
