PURPOSE

To lead and inspire the Vista service team in providing an elevated guest experience that aligns with 4-star hospitality standards. They will focus on refined service delivery, operational excellence, and the development of a cohesive, skilled team to exceed guest expectations in every interaction, ensuring a sophisticated and memorable dining experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Guest Service: Champion a culture of superior guest satisfaction by training team members to anticipate needs, recognize returning guests, and deliver a personalized dining experience that consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead by example in professionalism, courtesy, and service standards, and oversee comprehensive training programs on fine dining techniques and guest engagement. Provide regular feedback, recognizing excellence and guiding improvement to foster a high-performance team.
  • Operational and Financial Management: Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Director to develop and manage the annual budget, using financial metrics and reporting to drive decisions that optimize revenue, control costs, and promote sustainable growth.
  • Menu and Beverage Program Oversight: Partner with the Chef to maintain a seasonal menu that reflects guest preferences and industry trends. Work with the Wine Steward to curate a wine and cocktail program that complements the menu and aligns with luxury dining standards.
  • Quality, Cleanliness, and Safety Standards: Set and uphold standards for cleanliness, ambiance, and food presentation, ensuring consistent alignment with 4-star expectations and health and safety regulations.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Manage scheduling, payroll, inventory, and reporting with a focus on streamlined workflows, supporting efficient daily operations and allowing for enhanced guest interaction.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Build relationships across departments to foster a unified guest service approach. Actively seek development opportunities for the team and leverage guest feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Guest Relations: Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, promptly resolving any issues with discretion and utilizing feedback to enhance future experiences.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support restaurant and casino operations.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field. Alternatively, an additional two (2) years of relevant full-time experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • Five (5) years of experience in full-service restaurant management with at least two (2) of those years in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Three (3) years of experience leading others in a supervisory or manager role.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Fine Dining Service Expertise: Advanced knowledge of luxury dining standards and tableside service, with the ability to coach staff in delivering a memorable guest experience.
  • Guest Relations and Resolution: Skilled in engaging guests warmly, addressing feedback, and resolving issues with discretion to foster lasting guest loyalty.
  • Leadership and Team Motivation: Strong leadership abilities in motivating, developing, and providing constructive feedback to build a cohesive, high-performing team.
