Summary:

HII-MT, Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Mechanic Field Technician to work out of our Abingdon, MD office in support of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) Command and Control CBRN Response Enterprise (C2CRE-A) mission. Some local travel is required. 

What You Will Do:

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These duties are not intended to be a exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignment and other factors.

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance and functional testing on small engine (Gas & Deisel) equipment.
• Service trailer bearings and breaks.
• Experience backing up trailers.
• Providing On-Site Support (at Unit Locations).
• Travel ~10% of the year.
• Creating and completing maintenance workorders.
• Trouble shoot equipment issues (On-Site and Off-Site).
• Providing instructional guidance on equipment.

What We're Looking For:

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Mechanic experience

Preferred Requirements

• Military Background

• Welding experience

• Fabrication experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Auto Body Technician

• Experience with vehicle maintenance, repair and inspection of multiple types of vehicles.

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in warehouse and field locations / environments. 
• Able to lift 50lbs.
