The Job:  

Come join our team as we prepare to launch our new automated Distribution Center and support our existing Manufacturing site in Jackson, Tennessee.   As a HR Generalist - Recruiter you’ll be part of our HR Operations team working as an onsite employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Lead hourly end-to-end recruitment activities, including drafting and posting jobs, proactively sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing the selection and offer process, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition for salary recruiting and drive onboarding process for those hires
  • Represent the company at job fairs, career events, and networking functions to attract top talent and promote the organization’s employer brand.
  • Support workforce planning to ensure we are meeting our hiring requirements to include assess staffing needs, and coordinate with external staffing agencies as necessary to fulfill hiring requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including processing and filing I-9 documentation, in accordance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Provide comprehensive HR administrative support by preparing correspondence, managing data in spreadsheets, and developing professional presentations.
  • Address and resolve HR-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally, exercising discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
  • Contribute to the implementation of positive employee relations initiatives and support various HR projects aimed at enhancing workplace culture.
  • Actively participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings and committees to foster collaboration and drive HR objectives.
  • Serve as a backup for payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration.
  • Assist with additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting the overall goals of the HR team and organization.

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; plus 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, with a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience in start-up site or high-volume recruiting a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in technology, including MS Office and HRIS platforms; Workday is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels; bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
