Vehicle Coordinator Senior

Provides support and analysis for Archrock’s Corporate Vehicle Fleet. Coordinates the vehicle telematics program, DOT program administration and support for the field operations organization, and support for vehicle fleet analysis and other ongoing vehicle management initiatives.
Essential Duties: (Approximate % Time Spent)
- Assists with the management and administration of the vehicle telematics program. Serves as the liaison to the operations teams for all aspects of telematics system including training, issue resolution, reporting, etc. (~ 20%)
- Supports the procurement of new vehicles (including up fitting equipment) and assists with the identification/management/disposition of surplus vehicles or other obsolete assets. (~ 15%)
- Supports other corporate vehicle administrative tasks including fleet maintenance and fuel programs, titling/licensing/registration/inspection inquiries and issue resolution, training, vehicle database administration, safety initiatives, etc. (~ 15%)
- Oversees administration of telematics provider database including data integrity, vehicle and driver updates, and reporting. (~ 10%)
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) resource for all DOT and other driver qualification related issues and provides guidance to other company operations as needed. (~ 10%)
- Develops, implements, and maintains internal policies, procedures and programs to enhance DOT/FMCSA compliance and operational efficiency (including training of DOT personnel and management). (~ 10%)
- Tracks and monitors all DOT violations, inspections, traffic violations, and citations as well as CSA and other governmental program scores/trends and develop an internal reporting process for distribution to ensure full visibility of compliance with all company and governmental (federal, state and local) agency requirements (DOT, CMV, ELD, HOS, etc.) (~ 10%)
- Develops, prepares and analyzes reports detailing monthly vehicle expenses related to repairs, fuel, total operating cost, purchases and other truck related cost items as appropriate. Highlights trends and suggests improvements to correct negative metrics. (~ 10%)
Non-Essential Duties: Participate in other miscellaneous projects and perform additional duties and ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
- telematics provider database or similar tools.
Knowledge:
- Thorough understanding of governmental (federal, state, local) requirements and regulations (FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, IRP, CSA, etc.) as they relate to commercial motor vehicle fleets.
- Knowledge or experience in basic automotive/truck repair and commercial vehicle fleet management within the oil and gas industry.
- Understanding of business principles (finance, accounting, etc.)
Minimum Education and Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S) in Business, Human Resources, Occupational Safety and Health or a related field or
a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in a similar role with increasing responsibilities in lieu of a degree.
- DOT Compliance Certification training.
Minimum Experience:
- Typically at least 5 years of professional experience supporting a commercial vehicle fleet subject to DOT compliance.
- Electronic Logging Device (ELD) experience.
- Vehicle Fleet Management experience in the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
Leadership:
- Expected to serve as a resource to others for knowledge transfer, training and checking work
