About the role

ICF is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Information Technology Consultant proficient in MS Power Apps and ServiceNow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an art for displaying relevant Section 508 data on an enterprise dashboard which will contribute to the maturity of our clients Section 508 Program. If you are looking for an opportunity to help design and develop dashboards leveraging disparate information from multiple data sources, then this is the job for you. This position will work remotely for our Federal client located in Arlington, VA.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing a dashboard for senior executives and stakeholders that provides informative metrics

  • Assessing which customer owned tool will best serve as the dashboard’s application

  • Linking to different data sources (SharePoint Lists, ServiceNow, and Excel) to extract relevant data

  • Transforming data using real time data modeling

  • Designing agile data models for management consideration

  • Envisioning collaborative and useful reports and dashboards

  • Using universal design standards for report and dashboard creation

  • Publish and share report and dashboards with business clients

  • Ensuring compliance with 508 Compliance Accessibility standards

  • Troubleshooting any data-related issue in order to optimize performance

What you will need:

  • 5 years of proven experience using Power Apps, ServiceNow, and other Microsoft applications

  • 5 years of Business Intelligence, data modeling, and IT project management

  • Certification in Microsoft Exam PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals

  • US Citizenship (required by federal government) and the ability to get a Public Trust

Additional Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, data mapping, page design, and output queues.

  • Knowledge of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended)

  • Work alongside of business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver workable solutions

  • Ability to express technical and nontechnical information and present recommendations to individuals or groups

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and participate in formal and informal management activities throughout the project life cycle

  • Ability to understand people, processes, and technologies to address business need for process improvements

  • Ability to identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgement to generate and evaluate alternatives

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Interpersonal skills with ability to present to groups at all levels

  • Attention to details when performing and reviewing work

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience using Azure DevOps and Salesforce

  • Working understanding of Federal IT services models and frameworks to support the project team to meet client requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership to set and manage realistic program goals and metrics

  • Operational experience with program/project metrics tracking and reporting

  • Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills, including editing and proofreading

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and outstanding level of professionalism in providing client support

  • Solid knowledge and experience with applying Agile methodology concepts and practices

Well-informed understanding of hybrid cloud based environment

Drive to stay informed on the latest trends and best practices for data modeling and analysis
