About the role

Grip is supported by the Professional Services department, the team that takes care of client-facing processes, ways of working, collaboration consultancy, integrations, and automations as well as overall onboarding and support of end users. This broad responsibility is carried by a number of roles, one of which is the IT Project Manager. As a hands-on project lead and analyst, the IT project manager manages projects from integration to optimization and implementation, performs basic business analyses and documentation and steers the development team in providing the best possible automation and integrations to serve our business needs.

Grip moves classic media creation efforts into the cloud, effectively virtualizing production. The software solution Grip takes care of generating high-quality visuals, at scale, on-demand, and based on data. Brand styles, as well as product look and feel are codified, which ensures an entirely consistent, always on-brand output, no matter who (or what) requests it.


Key Responsibilities

Project management

  • Initiate, validate and maintain project plans, whether they are waterfall or agile-based.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring that they stay on schedule, within scope, and meet quality standards. Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Regularly communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs. Assess the impact of changes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet specified standards.

Business Analysis

  • Analyse, document, and validate business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and clients
  • Develop process maps and workflow diagrams to visualize and understand business processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements. Validate solutions with stakeholders.
  • Host analysis workshops ensuring all data is gathered effectively
  • Host and support user acceptance testing activities ensuring the built solution is robust and fulfils the business requirements
  • Provide training and support to end-users during and after the implementation of solutions

Requirements

Would be amazing if you:

  •  Proficient in project planning, execution, and closure. Ability to create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets. Familiar with waterfall, Agile methodologies. Additional methodologies are a pré
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate concisely, friendly, detail-oriented and ability to create comprehensive reports and overviews independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Understanding their needs and ensuring that the project aligns with organizational goals.
  • Familiar with analysis notation languages, such as UML, BPMN, and corresponding tools (e.g. Miro, Mural, etc.). Familiar with project management tools (Clickup, Microsoft Project, Airtable, or similar)

As a plus:

  • A general knowledge of the graphical (packaging) chain and the steps to produce content at a high level.
