Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled eMobility NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering and eMobility technologies, with expertise in OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol). This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our electric vehicle (EV) charging network to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role is all about making sure our (EV) charging network runs smoothly and efficiently. You will need to know a lot about network engineering and EV technologies, especially OCPP. This position will be located in our electrification center in Cumming, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions for EV charging infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with new and existing systems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of EV charging stations.
- Service Management: Provide efficient instructions for service and field personnel to accomplish the mission of meeting client deliverables and contract requirements.
- OCPP Management: Manage and troubleshoot OCPP-related issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protocols.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and analyze data to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Remote Troubleshooting: Perform technical remote troubleshooting for Level 2 (AC) and Level 3 (DC) chargers.
- Customer Support: Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide clear, effective communication regarding technical issues and solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, technical procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in network operations.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as needed to address urgent technical issues and ensure continuous operation of EV charging infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role, with a focus on eMobility technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of eMobility technologies and OCPP.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure and related software.
- Expertise in onsite and remote troubleshooting for Level 2 (AC) and Level 3 (DC) chargers.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical deliverables for operations and service personnel.
- Strong ability to generate custom and detailed reports for leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based network management solutions.

- Experience in coding and development background (e.g., C++ C# and API technologies).
- Certification in network technologies (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
