Collins Aerospace’s Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with High-Performance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Mission Systems. 

Our Software Engineers work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success. Our software engineers utilize a variety of skills on a regular basis including requirements analysis, development and delivery of high-quality mission critical software. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces.  This position is located onsite in Richardson, TX.  

 

What You Will Do: 

  • You will team up with a high-performance software team, collaborating with fellow Software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Software Architects, and other teams. 

  • You will support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements. 

  • You will participate in the design of the capabilities producing UML and SysML diagrams. 

  • You will be responsible for producing high quality mission critical software. 

  • You will participate in code and related artifacts peer reviews. 

  • You will create test cases.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
