Our platform increases connected vehicle data accessibility and actionability for automakers, their partners and their end-customers.</p> <p> </p> <h3>Who You Are</h3> <p>You are an effective DevOps engineer who thinks about security, automation, scalability, and reliability.  You have a propensity for creating processes that enable you and the rest of the team to work more effectively.  You have responsibility for the configuration, security, and scalability of our SAAS application production environment.</p> <p> </p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>As a DevOps Engineer, you will work to automate processes, make sure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Automate configuration of production systems</li> <li>Ensure that data is encrypted in transit and at rest</li> <li>Ensure that data is backed up on a regular basis and that the backups work</li> <li>Ensure that the production environment  is observable</li> <li>Ensure that principles of least access are followed</li> <li>Ensure that we are using our production resources in a cost effective manner</li> <li>Ensure compliance</li> <li>Keep production systems up-to-date with minimum amount of downtime</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bias for automation</li> <li>Familiar with Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform (knowing AWS is a bonus)</li> <li>Proficient in managing/deploying cloud-native infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)</li> <li>Proficient in managing Kubernetes resources (Helm, Kustomize, kubectl, etc.)</li> <li>Understanding of GitOps patterns (Argo CD, Flux, Crossplane)</li> <li>Proficient in building Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Concourse, Argo Workflows, etc.)</li> <li>Proficient in Database Management (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3>Security and Privacy Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Member of the CSIRT Team</li> <li>Follow our policy and procedure documents related to security and privacy</li> <li>Follow the guidelines in the Employee Handbook</li> <li>Participate in new hire and annual training for security and privacy</li> <li>Treat d
