HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Analyst to join our team. The eDiscovery Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's electronic discovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of eDiscovery practices, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
• Responsible for all eDiscovery activities across the EDRM model for litigation and investigation support; Legal Hold preservation; Evidence collection; Evidence processing for indexing parameters; Application of search terms for security designation segregation of collected population; Analytics knowledge to apply identified criteria for culling to relevance; tagging for litigation-assigned values; creating export files per subpoena requirements; aggregating production sets on direction of outside counsel.
• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end eDiscovery process, including data identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.
• Collaborate with legal teams, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective eDiscovery workflows.
• Develop and implement eDiscovery protocols, procedures, and best practices to streamline the process and ensure compliance.
• Utilize various data collection tools and techniques to gather electronic data from various sources, such as email servers, file servers, databases, and cloud-based repositories.
• Ensure proper chain of custody and data integrity throughout the collection process.
• Perform data processing tasks, including deduplication, filtering, and data culling, to reduce the volume of data for review.
• Maintain detailed collection logs, documenting all actions taken during the data collection process.
• Create and manage production inventories, ensuring accurate tracking of produced data and associated metadata.
• Analyze collection logs and production inventories to identify potential issues or discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration and configuration of eDiscovery tools within the organization's infrastructure.
• Manage multiple eDiscovery projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide regular status updates and reports to legal teams, management, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and communicate potential risks, issues, or bottlenecks in the eDiscovery process and propose solutions.
Requirements: I have already done that or have it!
• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in the use of industry-standard eDiscovery tools and platforms for data processing, review, and production.
• Proficient in the use of eDiscovery tools and technologies, such as Relativity, Nuix, or similar platforms.
• Experience with litigation production, including Bates numbering, standard file submission, merging of hard copy and electronic data populations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex eDiscovery challenges.
