About the team:

 

1. Our S/4HANA Financial Operations Team is part of the SAP Public Cloud organization. We develop core cloud products in the business area Accounts Receivables
2. We drive innovation to support our cloud customers with state-of-the art user experience and continuous modernization
3. We support companies in their transition to the cloud

 

The team works in scrum mode, celebrates the agile team ceremonies, and applies agile software development methodologies, e.g., Pair-Programming, Code Reviews, Show and Tell, Test-driven Development based on common cloud mindset

 

What you’ll do:

Position title:  SAP iXp Bachelor Thesis Student (f/m/d) - AI Modernization, Cloud ERP - Product Engineering
Work Area: Finance
Location: Walldorf (remote work possible within Germany)
Expected start date: January 1st, 2024

In this role, you’ll:

•    write a Bachelor Thesis about ‘Bank Statement Automation using AI technology, e.g ChatGPT’
•    make yourself familiar with the API of ChatGPT and learn how to integrate a business application with it
•    integrate with the ChatGPT and explore business potentials in context of Bank Statement Automation based on customer examples
•    aggregate all your results in your thesis
•    all analysis has to be performed under consideration of legal guardrails for corporate customers, e.g., DPP (Data Protection and Privacy) or SOX compliance. Check that these guardrails are respected in your implementation

 

Who you are:

 

• You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
• Software development/programming skills (in any common programming language)
• Passion for technology and software craftmanship
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in financial business processes, focus on Process Automation and AI technology is beneficial
• Proficient in English
