Maintenance Technician

Days: Monday-Friday

Time: 10:00am-6:30pm

Pay: 16-19 Hourly

 

 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible to completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures.  Performs daily, weekly and monthly rounds and inspections. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary for the well being and protection of the environment, property and occupants, in accordance with contractual obligations.  Participates in training directed at increasing job-related skills and assists in training of other employees as directed.

Basic Qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age or older
•  Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license
•  High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:
•  One (1) year of prior HVAC or mechanical technician experience is preferred
•
 
Responsibilities:
•  Maintain records of technical knowledge regarding equipment and concepts
•  Handle heavy workload of calls
•  Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return 
•  Manage workload and job scheduling
•  Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork  
•  Obtain customer signature on all service reports (before work begins when performing spot jobs)
•  Keep manager informed of customer feedback
•  Communicate effectively and promptly
•  Provide technical training and knowledge as needed to client, customer and team
•  Collaborate with and across multiple departments and representatives within the Company
•  When the Supervisor is present, the lead worker may also be responsible for directing smaller work groups 
•  Report team performance issues to the Supervisor
