The following position is to join RTX Corporate team:

The Accounting Systems and Analytics Lead will work collaboratively across the oneRTX Workstreams to design the future finance data structure approach for the company, leveraging strategic thinking and expertise in accounting and finance.

What You Will Do

• Improve system functionality for accounting, finance, and reporting requirements through improved standardization, organization and closer alignment of our data structures with our modern business practices.
• Partner with oneRTX Workstream and Data leads to develop and coordinate an overall approach to finance data structure across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and consistency in processes and practices.
• Lead development and validation of our future common information model including, chart of accounts, profit centers, company codes, and cost centers.
• Influence key decision-makers on critical finance master data design choices to enable robust financial reporting and analysis, providing expert finance guidance to shape the Company’s overall approach.
• Engage with RTX’s system integration partner, leading system blueprint and design sessions to ensure finance data structure considerations are integrated with broader systems and tools.
• Partner with RTX Business Units, Enterprise Services, and Corporate Functions on development of future state process improvements.
• Travel up to 40%, or as needed.

                                                                                             

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience with aerospace and defense industry and the R2R value stream finance functions, with a focus on finance and accounting processes.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP software systems as well skills with Excel and/or other data tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
