Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Family Support Coach in Oklahoma City, OK.

The Family Support Coach will contribute to the company's mission of helping systems, organizations and individuals reach their full potential while maximizing the public good and by building and fostering strong foundational relationships with community service providers and others committed to making a significant, measurable and sustainable difference.

This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule including daytime and evening availability. Program services are delivered throughout the week and on weekends.

  • Facilitate and encourage workshop attendance by identifying and reducing barriers that might prevent couples from participating in the program.
  • Develop rapport and relationships that keep couples engaged in the program especially through phone, text, email messages, mail, office visits, and workshop involvement.
  • Meet an 80% key performance indicator of caseload-workshop completion.
  • Offer individualized and group assistance and support by assessing couples needs through case management principles and best practices.
  • Ensure couples are building competency in the skills taught in the curriculum during outreach and follow-up contacts, as well as during office visits and/or workshops.
  • Meet regularly with the Family Support Manager to review couples program participation and relationship progress.
  • Facilitate couples participation in employment development services, education, and mental health assistance through referrals and program partner services.
  • Provide assistance to trained Educators and facilitate skills practice sessions and access to resources for couples during FE workshops.
  • Maintain case notes and files within established protocols in Management Information System (MIS) and other files and database systems that are established.
  • Follow understanding of policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Studies, Psychology or equivalent, required (Three years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education)
  • One year experience in social services and knowledge of community resources, required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weeknights and weekends
  • Willing to make home and hospital visits
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to travel within the city and surrounding areas for outreach
