As Product Manager Computational Science Environments, you play a leading role in defining the future of our Research Dry Lab – a fully integrated combination of high-performance computing (HPC) environments, internally built systems and industry standard software, with a focus on applications that comprise the computational environments for community of data and computational scientists engaged in Computer-Aided Drug Discovery (CADD), Structural Biology, Bioinformatics, Image Analysis, and Modeling & Simulation.

Key responsibilities
You combine your knowledge computational science and high-performance computing applied to drug discovery with your matrix leadership skills to manage and evolve a high-impact product consisting of a portfolio of computational science software applications. Together with a Product Operations Manager and an Engineering Lead, you will co-lead a matrixed product team, ensuring the initiatives you lead contribute to an intentional, integrated, and capability-based product architecture and continuously increase the value to drug discovery in BR.
- You provide strategic context and focus to the teams, act as facilitator to prioritization, and cultivate good team-based decision-making practice to increase the value of the Product towards the strategic mandate of your Product Line.
- You actively and transparently manage, and communicate to, all key stakeholders to co-create visions and roadmaps for the initiatives you lead, and you define how we measure their success and value delivery. This includes partnering with our corporate IT HPC Team to actively engage with multiple providers as well as the large community of system users.
- You shape your teams’ culture and processes for success by exemplifying excellence in leadership and product management.
This position will be located at the Cambridge, MA site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. This position will require 10% travel as defined by the business (domestic and/ or international).
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $166,400.00 and $249,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

- Experience in managing complex HPC environments.
