Home Health Aide Supervisor - Bridgeport, CT - Full-Time

Utopia Home Care has been a family owned agency since 1983. We have 6 branch offices throughout CT and provide staffing for 10 assisted living facilities.

We are especially seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Home Health Aide Supervisor position currently available at our Bridgeport, CT branch location.

This role reports directly to our Clinical Supervisor and provides direct oversight to our Home Health Department to include direct oversight of our Home Health Aide Coordinators and field staff.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with a CT State license in good standing.

We require a minimum of one year of supervisory experience within a home care agency to include staff supervision, interaction with patients and their families as well as interaction with various referral sources such as the regional Agencies on Aging and doctor's offices.

The HHA Supervisor reviews patient orders, plans of care, provides insight and direction to the HHA Coordinators, Nurse Coordinator and field staff to ensure effective coordination of client services.

Must be highly organized and have the ability to handle complex issues.

Must be adaptable to working in a changing environment and have the experience and maturity to deliver a high level of customer service and effective communications.
