Learn more: www.axway.com.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p></p> <p>Axway is looking for a customer facing Pre-Sales Architect who is motivated to help drive new business, evangelize our technology, onboard and train new customers, and establish revenue potential with existing customers. Ideally, this candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise on Gateways, industry leading products and products. He will also have a proven track record of helping customers define their digital architecture to make best use of such products.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaboration with Axway sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions.</li> <li>Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts.</li> <li>Deliver technical content for RFI/RFPs.</li> <li>Support technical escalations, designing solutions; and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships.</li> <li>Maintain an understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes</li> <li>The successful candidate will be passionate about &amp; Platform Technologies (such as APIs, Microservices, B2B and File Transfer governance) and have or develop a strong understanding of Cloud, On-Premise and Hybrid environments. In addition, will work with, technical and sales , professional services, and our Business Partner ecosystem.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p> </p> <p></p> <p><strong>Qualifications :</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven relationship and organizational skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple organizations.</li> <li>Ability to understand business problems, articulate a corresponding solution based on Axway software, build a value proposition, and establish a compelling reason to act.</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, both written and verbally</li> <li>Ability to confidently lead a discussion with a group of Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.</li> <li>Solid understanding of cloud computing trends.</li> <li>Understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market.</li> <li>“Better together" mentality and a sense of urgency.</li> <li>This position will support clients and partners across Italy. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Technical and Professional Expertise</strong></p> <ul> <li>The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Software Engineer, Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting, preferably at Enterprise Software companies.</li> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise </strong></p> <ul> <li>Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills are highly desirable.</li> <li>Experience with Docker, containers and cloud providers like Aws, Azure and/or GCP</li> <li>Experience with API First approach and strategy</li> <li>Hands on familiarity with (message queues, synchronous and asynchronous communications, events and transaction protocols), web services technologies, and enterprise Security standards (oAuth, SAML, LDAP, SSO).</li> <li>Experience of Software Developer Life Cycle, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.</li> <li>Any knowledge on Kubernetes and Openshift is a plus.</li> <li>Any knowledge on Kafka is a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong> Axway is an AA and EEO Employer</strong>#LI-SV1</p>
