Job Location: North Shore - PITTSBURGH, PA 15212Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $230,000.00 - $350,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayDescription:Ā The role of the infectious disease physician is to diagnosis, treat, and provide ongoing care of individuals living with infectious disease/HIV.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and provide comprehensive medical care to individuals livings with HIV/AIDs.
- Update charts and patent information to show current findings and treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventative care, and education to patients to improve their overall health.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory.
Qualifications
Licensure and Clearances:
- Current and valid board certification in infectious diseases.
- Current and valid board certification in internal and family medicine.
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved residency.
- Current DEA registration.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Successful passing of Child Abuse and FBI Clearances.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with both professionals and patients from all demographics.
- Experience with patient-centered, trauma-informed care.
- HIV Specialist if not Board certified in Infectious Diseases.
- LGBTQIA+ cultural competency.
- Commitment to providing high quality care to historically underserved populations.
- Knowledge and comfort working with patients with drug and alcohol use disorders.
- Understanding on how to navigate medical systems.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, Excel, Word, and how to use Electronic Medical Records.
- Ability to be compassionate while dealing with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team-based care.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and, at times, excited atmosphere.
- Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to adapt to a work environment that is constantly changing and not always structured.
- Need to be culturally competent while working, including being gender sensitive and pronoun aware.
- Non-judgmental approach to patient care.
- Technical skills with required office equipment.
- Patience and great attention to detail.
- Completely understand the healthcare privacy laws as outlined in HIPAA.
