Senior Product Associate

As a Senior Product Associate in Digital Middleware Platform team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.   As a Middleware Senior Product Associate, you will be responsible for driving the requirements and build for Middleware APIs. Collaborate with technology and Architecture. Drive API design, security, performance and scalability.
  Job responsibilities

• Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
• Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
• Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
• Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
• Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
• Contribute to the Middleware Platform API roadmap
• Groom Epic and stories in partner with technology team
• Prioritizing epic/stories based on product roadmap and LOB priorities.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
• Ensuring API Scalability and Performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
• Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
• Experience building Middleware APIs using SOA system integration.
• Knows and understand building Middleware API using Java Technologies.
• Ability to partner with various stakeholders like engineers and developers to work on the project scope, and products, and overcome issues.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and SCRUM
• Complete know-how of product management concepts and tools
• An understanding of API-related concepts and things, such as JSON
• A complete understanding of Components of APIs.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in API development and management
• Prior experience and  skills in API design, security, and management platforms
• Previously worked a Java Developer and has designed and built webservices using Java technologies.
• .Understand the nuances of API development
• Understand the role of API Product Manager, API Consumers vs API Producers
• Has worked on complex enterprise applications and understand the complex eco-system
