Develop machine learning models to enhance reverse-engineering tools. As a Data Science Intern, you will be working with flavor analytical chemists in a continuous learning environment, in support of Flavor Creation.
Internships begin the first week of June through the third week of August.
Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Your key responsibilities
- Work directly with analytical chemists to gather data, identify patterns, and create machine learning models that enhance the capabilities of the solution.
- Implement machine learning algorithms, evaluate their performance, and optimize them for accuracy and efficiency.
- Design and develop data pipelines to pre-process, clean, and transform data for use in machine learning models.
- Collaborate closely with analytical chemists to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of ML solutions.

You bring
- Completed 2 years of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing machine learning models.
- Familiarity with data pre-processing, cleaning, and transformation techniques for machine learning applications.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset.
