Sr. Analyst, Patient Safety

The Senior Analyst, Patient Safety reports to the Director of Patient Safety. The ideal candidate enjoys solving challenging problems, relies on data for insights, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role will require strong relationships across the enterprise. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Leverage data collected from multiple sources (reporting, observations, medical records) to  identify key trends to drive high-impact initiatives to improve safety prevention and reduce risk

• Develop and maintain extensive reporting mechanisms, including dashboards, to communicate safety trends to clinical and business leaders

• Provide analytical support across clinical operations functions (vaccine and lab reporting, communicable disease reporting, and environment of care)

• Develop materials and lead discussions with relevant organizational leaders, including both clinical and operational audiences

• Support formal safety investigations and response, including root cause analysis

• Other duties, as determined by direct manager

What we’re looking for
 

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in healthcare or related field 

• Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables

• Champions a collaborative working style, able to partner cross-functionally

• Ability to succinctly summarize and synthesize large amounts of information

• Possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

• Comfort with ambiguity 

• Able to communicate effectively across different audiences and stakeholders 

• Bachelor’s degree required

• US work authorization
