League Supervisor (Seasonal)

You’ll be a great fit if you can:

• Help promote and follow our mission statement, values and expectations.
• Oversee adult volleyball leagues.
• Oversee youth league games, including baseball, softball and soccer.
• Participate in lifting and cleaning to set up and take down sporting events.
• Represent the City’s Recreation Sportsmanship Program by conveying to league participants – including players, coaches and fans – the core program intentions.
• Assist in setting a positive example and improve all youth league participants’ experiences.
• Communicate well with the public.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.

To be considered you will need:

• To be at least 21 years old.
• A valid Utah Driver’s License.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of a variety of sports.
• Schedule availability on weekday evenings as early as 5:00 pm, and on some Saturday mornings and afternoons.

The “Elbow Grease” of the job:

• You will frequently be walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
• You will frequently sit or stand for long periods of time.
• You will occasionally stoop or crouch. 
• You will frequently have contact with other employees and members of the public.
• You will be required to work flexible hours.
