Job Description

Eaton Analytical is the largest and most recognized water and beverage testing laboratory in the United States, providing water quality compliance and specialty testing to more than 500 municipal, State and Federal customers.

EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL has one (1) Laboratory Technician opening at our Pomona Laboratory in our Organic Prep department. This is a regular full time position, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. 

• Clean and prepare glassware for several departments following procedures outlined in a standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Clean laboratory equipment, such as sinks, tables and sample preparation equipment using solvents, water and detergents or acids according to SOP
• Sample and waste disposal
• Perform routine, non-technical duties throughout the laboratory
• Prepare samples for Organic Prep analysts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma. At least 1 – 2 years of relevant college lab work preferred
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to speak, read and write English fluently and have the ability to follow complex instructions
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to meet daily commitments with a widely varying workload
• Must be able to lift at least 55 lbs. routinely and safely and must be able to work standing for most of the day
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility for overtime and weekend coverage as needed.

The salary range for this position is $18-$20 / hour (DOE).
