About Us

Premium Seating food service at Hayden Homes Amphitheater blends elevated dining with the pace and unpredictability of live music. Sound Bites serves as the production hub for Premium Seating food, supporting both the Cabanas and Deschutes Deck. Food Runners are a critical part of this system, acting as the final link between kitchen execution and guest experience. They make sure carefully prepared food moves quickly, stays hot, and reaches the correct guests without disrupting the flow of the show.

Job Overview

As a Food Runner, you’ll be stationed primarily outside Sound Bites, pulling completed dishes from the expo and loading trays for delivery. When guest orders include items from other in-house food locations, such as concessions or pizza, Food Runners are responsible for gathering those items as well and assembling complete orders before delivery.

Food Runners then carry trays to guests in the Cabanas and Deschutes Deck, ensuring orders arrive hot, complete, and at the correct tables. This role requires constant movement, sharp awareness, and the ability to track multiple orders at once, including ticket order, table location, and timing.

While waiting on food to run, Food Runners support front-of-house operations by verifying IDs and applying 21+ wristbands.

    • Wristband guests by verifying IDs and applying 21+ wristbands during slower food periods
    • Clear visible empties or trash off tables when encountered, maintaining a clean service environment without interrupting guests
    • Food Runners may occasionally support the ADA F&B program by delivering food and beverages to ADA seating areas.
    • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and leads regarding timing, delays, or issues
    • Support breakdown and reset of the food running area after service
    • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and venue protocols
    • Champion venue sustainability and waste diversion efforts as part of an F&B program recognized as #1 in the country
