Main Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Plan,
direct, control and manage the activities and staff involved with the
negotiation, preparation, monitoring and termination of contracts between the
company and customers to ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
Acts as the Key Officer for all export compliance.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise staff of Contract
Administrators responsible for purchase order entry, quotation
coordination and submittal, backlog alignment and customer communication
Responsible for the conduct of
all contract liaison before, during and after contract duration.
Develop and administer contract
administration policies, systems, procedures and methods.
Manage and coordinate contract
administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are
maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while
representing the interest of the company.
Advise management of contract
obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.
Provide interpretation of terms
and conditions of contractual obligations.
Coordinate pre-award
negotiations between company and customer.
Analyze impact of modifications
and revisions and prepares company recommendations.
Supervise the conduct of
special studies, investigations or analyses and provide for the
preparation of reports and recommendations as required.
Maintain an awareness of
current statutory requirements influencing contract development and
administration.
Guide, set policies and
procedures to meet the company obligations as required by ITAR
Perform all duties in regard to
exporting company’s products outside the US
Minimum Education & Experience:
BS
degree or equivalent, 7-10 years of comprehensive contracts experience.
Desirable Working Knowledge or Skills:
ERP system knowledge. Use
of Epicor is beneficial
Ability to negotiate all terms
of a contract and to assure that contractual obligations are met.
Good customer relation
skills.
Understands and has worked in
an export compliance environment.
Moderate to Expert in various
Microsoft applications
The pay scale for
this position ranges from $64,480 to $131,300 annually.
