IGT is seeking an Assembler II to join our Reno Used Manufacturing team, supporting refurbishment and rework operations across our gaming machine production environment. This role supports the rebuild and reassembly of electronic gaming machines and related sub-assemblies by following defined processes to disassemble, repair, assemble, and verify product builds. The Assembler II plays a key role in maintaining quality, accuracy, and throughput while assisting with routine troubleshooting to ensure refurbished units meet IGT standards for performance and reliability.

  • Follow detailed manufacturing work instructions, routing documentation, and build requirements for Used Manufacturing products.
  • Use computer systems to review build requirements, work orders, and process documentation.
  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble electronic gaming machines and related sub-assemblies as assigned.
  • Assemble and secure parts using bolting, clipping, screwing, fastening, and connector installation.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively (drivers, torque tools, wrenches, etc.).
  • Verify build accuracy by checking part placement, cabling, hardware installation, and completed steps.
  • Identify and correct assembly errors, missing components, and configuration issues.
  • Identify and document deviations from standard procedures or build requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work using production tracking systems, travelers, and checklists.
  • Escalate non-routine issues or repeated defects to lead/senior team members for resolution.
  • Work within defined production procedures while supporting efficiency, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to stand for a full shift.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. safely.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing, assembly, or repair environment.
  • Ability to interpret and follow manufacturing instructions and build documentation.
  • Basic computer skills to review build requirements and complete production tracking.
  • Ability to pass a security background investigation.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation for this position is $18/hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
