The Role at a Glance

As a Physical Security Consultant, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating executive security. You will provide executive protection and driving services when warranted requiring exceptional driving skills, a strong understanding of security protocols, a high degree of discretion and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also provide oversight of electronic security systems and serve as a primary company representative overseeing the day-to-day operation of contract security officer operations.

What you'll be doing

  • You will maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments/trends, assess their impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate them into current and future solutions. You will stay updated on security best practices and make suggestions on how to improve current practices.
  • You will champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
  • You will serve as a resource to team members and internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects. In addition, you will consult with internal/external stakeholders on a broad variety of security matters.
  • You will provide executive protection and/or "white glove" driving services for the President & CEO &/or other senior executives, when warranted, and react decisively to unexpected incidents, including potential threats or emergencies.
  • You will monitor the surroundings for suspicious activity, potential threats, and assess risks to the Executive’s safety, coordinating such with Lincoln’s AVP, Protective Services.
  • You will plan secure driving routes, considering traffic patterns, potential risks, and alternate escape routes.
  • You will maintain a low profile while transporting company Executives, avoiding unnecessary attention and ensuring discreet movements; and maintain confidentiality regarding Executive’s information.
  • When warranted, you will inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, ensuring proper functionality and readiness for operation; conduct vehicle checks for cleanliness, functionality, and fuel level.
  • You will render aid in the event of illness, accident, or other safety hazards.
  • You will serve as primary company representative overseeing the day-to-day operation of contract security officer operations at Lincoln corporate offices.
  • You will provide administrative and technical support for investigations and audits requiring records from various electronic security systems.
  • You will serve as a resource to ensure site security and develop procedures for increasing the quality and accuracy of information.
  • You will maintain an office-by-office list of physical security equipment, including access cards, card readers, visitor management controls.
  • You will conduct audits of electronic security control systems to confirm consistency with established naming conventions and make corrections as necessary.
  • You will generate reports, and aid in transforming base transactional data into meaningful information to drive informed dialog and security solutions with internal & external stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

Must Haves

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
  • 10+ Years relevant law enforcement, military, or executive protection experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.
  • Upon Hire Certifications/Licensures: (Current and valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License., ACT 235 – Pennsylvania Lethal Weapons & Training Certification).
  • 60 Days Certifications/Licensures: (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Certification, First Aid, CPR and AED).

 

Travel Requirements

  • Travel Type: National Domestic
  • Travel Amount: up to 50%
