Job Description
We are working with a client in need of a Sr. Project Manager to drive the introduction of an automated technology their ecosystem for three client locations. This project is a key workstream in a larger transformation project that encompasses major construction of the client's space, the introduction of new technology, and new processes for both employees and customers.
Location: Onsite 2-3 days in Seattle, WA
W2 Compensation Range: This role will compensate between $100/HR and $125/HR depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications.
Project Length: 12 Months Plus
Responsibilities:
- Manage workstreams to build the technology, drive changes to customer and employee behavior
- Prepare the facilities for physical changes.
- Collaborate with workstream leads and additional project managers supporting various workstreams
- Work closely with the IT PM, the Biometrics team, the Construction PMs, and business leaders in marketing, operations, training, safety, and policies & procedures
- Drive execution and governance activities to ensure a successful project launch and rapid adoption of the new biometric-enabled process
- Partner closely with the project sponsor, executive sponsor, workstream leads, product managers, other project managers, and company executives.
- Follow the EPMO’s methodology and leverage the associated tools and template.
- Create and manage the following deliverables: Project Workplans, Project Risks and Issues Log, Weekly Status Report / Dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields.
- 10+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity within a EPMO.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly desirable
- PMP Certification is required.
- Experience in both waterfall and agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of project management software and collaboration tools, such as MS Project and SharePoint.
- Strong collaboration, facilitation, influencing skills with the ability to build consensus
- Demonstrated experience instituting & adapting project management principles tools and disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal skills – written and oral; ability to lead
- Change management experience desirable
- Ability to be organized and multi-task; to establish and follow priorities
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
