Director of Program Management (Remote)

We’re looking for a Director of Program Management to lead high-profile initiatives and to create a toolkit of best-class collaboration and project practices to drive the Fleetio team forward (pun intended). Reporting to the VP of Program Management, this is an emerging role that is critical in our exciting next phase of growth. As a member of a lean but mighty team, you’ll be both tactics and strategy, blending business acumen with intentional collaboration while driving a mindset of continuous improvement for yourself and others. While ultimate success is delivering a complex initiative on time and within budget, you feel most accomplished when project team members bring one of your frameworks back to their teams.

What you'll be doing

• Successfully plan, execute, and deliver strategic and transformational initiatives, including defining scope and timelines, building aligned project plans, reporting status, and implementing processes and documentation as necessary.
• Connect dots across the business and assigned initiatives to identify and manage risks and unforeseen dependencies.
• Quickly identify critical project paths and business decisions and create proactive plans to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Strategize and facilitate large and small meetings with diverse partner groups to drive transparency and mutual understanding of success (kickoff meetings, status meetings, design sessions, issue meetings, working sessions, etc.)
• Partner with other program team members, key stakeholders, and leaders to resolve issues timely and foster successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Simplify delivery by removing ambiguity, creating structure, and providing clear direction.
• Anticipate and resolve information needs, resource gaps, and scope creep.
• Create scale and promote operational success through the development of a project toolkit as well as mentorship.
