Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a System Durable Medical Equipment Manager to join the Supply Chain Management team! This role is HYBRID working Full-time Monday-Friday.
Requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 6 years of experience in Healthcare or related field, specifically with experience in DME products/services and related regulations
Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Develops and manages DME operations by utilizing a strong knowledge base/expertise in areas of focus related to the program.
- Leads all sourcing efforts and analysis for supplier selection and partnerships with DME vendors.
- Works closely with the Inova IT, Epic, and Digital teams to develop and integrate technology in support of the DME program, working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Partners with appropriate business sponsors to drive effective decisions and brief senior leadership.
- Leads overall coordination of information to key stakeholders in the system of care.
- Monitors trends within the market to provide recommendations that are both clinically/operationally functional and financially responsible.
- Facilitates cross-functional teams and workgroups, including physicians, administrators, and clinical team members. Partners with hospital and system-wide finance, case management, revenue, purchasing, operational and clinical teams to gain consensus and approval for system standards and processes.
- Facilitates communication horizontally and vertically within the various facilities of the Inova Health System for the purpose of integrating/sharing information regarding standardization.
- Works to collect, analyze, and disseminate data and/or information needed to implement project.
- Supports additional projects and may perform additional duties as assigned
