<p><strong>Position: Data Analyst</strong></p><p>Cloud Systems Engineering team that supports the NetSuite Global Business Unit at Oracle is looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. </p><p>In this role, you will focus on reviewing issue reports and alerts, analysing patterns, and identifying gaps in automated issue detection processes. Your work will be critical in enhancing the effectiveness of our automated systems and ensuring the identification of potential issues across operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.</p><p><br/><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Generate, review and analyze issue reports and alerts from automated systems</li><li>Create detailed reports outlining findings, trends, and recommendations for process improvements</li><li>Identify recurring patterns, inconsistencies, and gaps in automated issue detection processes</li><li>Identify and provide new metrics and success criteria for automated issue detection</li><li>Develop and automate tooling to validate the source data </li><li>Perform data validation to ensure issues are accurately captured and categorized</li><li>Monitor and validate the quality of data used in automated issue detection to ensure reliability</li><li>Work closely with technical teams to understand current automated detection systems and assess their effectiveness</li><li>Cross-team collaboration to refine existing processes and enhance automated detection capabilities</li><li>Document findings and maintain clear communication regarding any gaps or improvements in detection processes</li></ul><p><br/><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of Linux system</li><li>Python scripting</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills to manage cross-team integrations</li><li>Familiarity with automated monitoring and alert systems</li><li>Proven experience in data analysis, especially with reviewing and analyzing issue reports and alerts</li><li>Experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of statistical analysis or machine learning is a plus</li></ul><p> </p><p>Do you enjoy data analysys?
