JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior Front End Developer you will help drive forward the development of applications based on some of the latest technologies in the React & Nextjs space. The role is suited to somebody who enjoys the end to end build of enterprise web applications along with consulting clients on ways to make applications more efficient and offering architectural advice.  

 

We have a beautiful office in central Dublin and also offer a high degree of flexibility around working from home, realistically you could be based anywhere in Ireland.

 

ABOUT YOU

• 4+ years Front End Development Experience
• Very strong skills in Reactjs, at least 3 years of experience working with React
• 1+ year(s using Nextjs
• TypeScript! Hopefully your totally fluent.
• An understanding of contentful would be a real bonus but an understanding of how a headless CMS works is really fine.
• Maybe in the past you’ve moved applications from an old CMS to something newer.. We do some work like this from time to time too..
• Testing is important, we hope you feel the same way. Hopefully you have used things like TDD, Jest etc. 
• We really like Nodejs and build a lot of the backend services with it.. Not essential that you are very strong here but 
• Have understanding of web fundamentals such as performance, semantics and web accessibility
• Can comfortably explain a technical solution to non technical person.
• Comfortable working within a Scrum environment
