Ultra Lounge Host Person - The Vault & Pinky Ring (UNION) Bellagio

THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Ultra Lounge Host Person is to embody the venue's brand while welcoming and seating guests, as well as aiding service staff with guest interactions and table details. In this role you will work at both The Vault and Pinky Ring and will be expected to carry out all responsibilities in both venues. All tasks must be carried out following departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE:  $16.3151 / Per Hour + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY: 

• Deliver exceptional service in alignment with the Bellagio luxury brand standards and S.H.O.W. Service Basics
• Meet weekly posting and post sharing quotas as well as engage with the venue's social media content and interact with review platforms like Yelp
• Utilize social media actively to create immersive guest experiences
• Welcome and seat guests courteously, ensuring equitable distribution of business among Gourmet Food Servers
• Monitor seated guests and promptly attend to their needs or initial inquiries
• Assist in managing reservations, answer phones politely, and consult with the manager on accommodating large parties
• Represent the venue brand by participating in social media photoshoots, marketing campaigns, and promotional events
• Verify billing details such as casino charges, room expenses, and coupon usage when closing checks
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, food handling, presentation, and service protocols
• Organize opening reports, floor plans, and menu changes
• Ensure adequate supply and cleanliness of the hostess stand and podium
• Prepare, maintain, and replenish host/hostess folders as well as clean and upkeep all food and beverage menus
• Support service staff with billing, guest requests, and information as needed
• Collaborate with management to schedule breaks for service staff while ensuring seamless floor coverage
• Maintain a stylish and fashionable appearance consistent with management guidelines
• Uphold high standards of personal grooming and hygiene as per Company and venue brand guidelines
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and address them promptly and accurately, escalating any complaints to management

RESTAURAUNT DETAILS:

• The Vault is a venue hidden away within Bellagio where guests are served upscale fine dining cocktails and dishes curated in a unique environment.
  • Hours:  Sunday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Friday – Saturday: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

• Pinky Ring by Bruno Mars is a one-of-a-kind luxury cocktail lounge featuring premium cocktails and live entertainment. At this venue food is not served and guests are not allowed to use phones while inside.
  • Hours:  Sunday – Thursday:  6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
  • Friday – Saturday:  6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

• Please keep in mind shifts may work before or after hours of operation for opening and closing procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
• One (1) year of prior experience as a Host Person in a fine-dining or similar customer service venue
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness card
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Two (2) years of prior experience as a Host Person in a fine-dining or similar customer service venue
• Available to work in both The Vault and Pinky Ring as needed
• Previous modeling experience
• Highly motivated and energetic personality
• Describes themselves as detail oriented, works well with a team, and can handle multiple tasks at one time
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
