Job Duties

Under the direction of Chief of Corrections Operations, manage activities of units
supporting security operations for state-wide, decentralized corrections agency including K-9, Fusion Center (Operations Logistics Unit), Gangs Extradition and Emergency Operations units, as well as other units as assigned. Personnel management and support. Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Department’s security operations and special groups.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of the DOC and security operations, special group policies, programs and
procedures; Effective communication skills; Ability to maintain confidential information and make sound decisions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of modern corrections methods, policies and practices; demonstrated excellence in management and leadership skills application.
