The Job:  

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be part of our T&O Global Supply Chain team working as an on-site employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Supervise all facilities and production maintenance needs, including supporting the preventive maintenance program while ensuring all safety & quality requirements are met. 
  • Direct efforts of maintenance and facilities team members to achieve daily manufacturing work schedules, driving team members to meet or exceed all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Take lead role in trouble shooting plant wide problems, determine and coordinate resources needed for problem resolution.
  • Responsible for work assignments of team members.
  • Responsible for overtime work schedules and overtime management of assigned departments as approved through supervision.
  • Responsible for OJT training of team members within assigned departments.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, & monthly documentation of assigned work area as it pertains to 5S & safety audits, efficiency reporting, SPC reporting, scrap reporting, maintenance work orders, & DMR maintenance.
  • Responsible for scheduling department work centers & equipment to meet departmental output per 13 week schedules.
  • Facilitates team meetings for communication, implementation of continuous improvement in areas of safety, quality, delivery, & cost.
  • Works closely with area supervisor for talent management and conflict resolution.
  • Interact with site contractors to complete special project tasks. Satisfies internal and external customer & supplier needs.
  • Interface with local power company in the event of storm or other electrical outages.
  • Contractor Management to include all EHS compliance, project scope and scheduling.

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 1+ years supporting Manufacturing/Production environments, preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a trade discipline such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc. preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance, including equipment installation.
  • Level 3 machinist skills in all areas of the department assigned.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts a plus.
