Purpose

The business analyst is part of IT team, is responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, managing project execution, designing and modelling solutions, ensuring quality through testing, and facilitation effective communication and training with stakeholders.

Key Missions

Presentation of the role

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst Purchasing and Finance Level 3 to work with Purchase and Finance team on our ERP (Microsoft D365) and the Purchase and Finance ecosystem.
 
As part of our IT Business System (Finance Domain):

•    Business Requirements Analysis:
        Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders (end-users, internal teams).
        Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.

•    Project Management:
        Work closely with project managers to plan and execute IT initiatives.
        Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring they meet specifications and stakeholder expectations.
 
•    Modelling and Design:
        Design solutions to improve business processes and solve complex problems.

•    Testing and Quality Assurance:
        Develop test plans and test scenarios to validate implemented solutions.
        Organise user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet specified requirements.

•    Communication and Training:
        Effectively communicate technical concepts and proposed changes to non-technical stakeholders.
        Train key-users on new features and deployed systems.

•    Continuous Improvement:
        Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems.
        Stay updated on new features and new solutions.

Candidate profile – Who are we looking for?

A level 3 IT Business Analyst should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, technical proficiency, expertise in requirements management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 
To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills or experiences:
-    a strong experience in D365 purchase and finance domain is required
-    basic knowledge in finance will be appreciated
-    knowledge in workflow and power automate
-    knowledge in electronic reporting
