Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field of study
Typically, 8+ years of progressive technical experience
Knowledge of engineering principles and practice
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team
Basic understanding of requirements management, system design, integration
Responsibilities:
- This position may require supervision of a small engineering team
- Technical responsibility for the development of advanced systems incorporating AI/ML and autonomous capabilities
- Communicate updates and progress to project and organizational leadership on a regular basis
- Generate and oversee tasking for lower level engineers as necessary to achieve project goals
Qualifications We Prefer:
Typically 2-4 years of relevant leadership and/or project management experience
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers
Familiarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technical proposals, and program cost and schedule management
Past history of leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternative
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedure
Professional Certification in Program Management International (PMI) and/or Program Management Professional (PMP
Experience or certification in INCOSE standard
Hands-on experience in systems integration laboratories and system modelling/simulation environments.
Familiarity with ISR operations, aircraft, and sensors
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
