About the role:

Direct life cycle product planning activities and high quality delivery of FIS new products, enhancements and releases to market.

Defines product roadmap to meet market requirements in support of product line strategy by considering position in life cycle, product profitability, pricing strategies, client satisfaction and sales success rate.

This director role, works closely with development teams to review enhancement requests for strategic value and align resources to high priority project.

About the team:

The FIS Technical Product team drives the successful delivery of capabilities across a wide breadth of FIS products.

The Technical Product team includes a group of talented product owners and agile coaches who emphasis quality and speed of delivery and ensure our customers are delighted with what we bring to market.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Serving in a leadership role that includes managing and mentoring more junior staff, ensuring that we have the right work queued up for our engineer teams with the right level of requirements.

  • Support the execution and delivery across several Value Streams encompassing a complete Domain, steering teams towards the shortest sustainable lead time.

  • Manage end-to-end value streams and a coordination and facilitation network with Lead Coaches and is responsible for guiding the strategy and aligning and reinforcing the vision, OKRs, and Roadmap for the Domain.

  • Present product information and industry thought leadership to external audiences in webinars and client conferences.

  • Provide presentations to clients during business reviews, prospect briefings and internal group meetings.

  • May require up to 40% travel.

What you will need:

  • 15+ years of Fintech Product experience with minimum of 5 years of direct management experience, in a leadership role 

  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex fintech projects and initiatives 

  • Skilled in project management, organization, communications, analytical and people skills 

  • Proven ability to lead, supervise and manage effectively under pressure 

  • Ability to be comfortable interacting with executive level clients 

  • Ability to analyze client's business needs and determine related information services support

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $163,310.00 - $274,380.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
