As a Manager, Project Manager on the Emerging Payments & AirKey team at Capital One, you will help lead and execute on high priority, high visibility projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line. General Responsibilities:

• Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs including standing up program structure, leading the milestone and stakeholder management, and providing updates directly to leadership.

• Developing in-depth technical knowledge of the product/products you are delivering

• Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements

• Coordinating internal resources, stakeholders and dependencies for the flawless delivery of a sophisticated product to market

• Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent

• Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment

• Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes

• Lead intent alignment conversations with tech and product teams

• Ensure that all products are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Coordinate project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Report and escalate to leadership as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

• At least 3 Years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters / MBA degree

• At least 5 years of Project Management experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management
