Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking is seeking a Process Engineer - Export Authorized Individual located in Berkeley, MO. We will look for you to evaluate content related to product design definition data and other data sources to determine the corresponding export authority as/if applicable in support of the Air Dominance division - St. Louis programs. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Interpret and communicate export authorization requirements for data release
• Perform export determinations
• Utilize export management system and other resources to record, track, and communicate export authorization determinations
• Lead pursuit of process and tool/system improvement initiatives
• Interface across internal and external organizations as appropriate
• Achieve designation of Export Authorized Individual with ability to perform requested export determinations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

•  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Prior experience working with Customers and Suppliers
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience (engineering product design processes and tool/systems)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiarity with Export Control authorizations
• Current secret clearance

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 2: $73,100 - $98,900
