By joining SALT Dental Collective, you will direct activities ranging from small to complex projects, negotiate with vendors and landlords, lead buildout projects such as De Novo future locations, manage insurance claims, and maintain strong relationships with our internal and external partners across Salt Dental Collective’s national footprint. The Director of Facilities will be the face of facilities leadership to the quickly growing 90+ partner practices.
The Director of Facilities will be a hands-on leader and an adept problem solver with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This role requires travel and will be based out of our growth support office located in Phoenix, AZ or open to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Facilities team to increase their capabilities and ability to support site business needs.
- Partner with Supply Chain in creating bid packages, evaluating responses, negotiating contracts, and ultimately awarding construction projects.
- Utilize formal Project Management disciplines in planning, communicating, delivering, commissioning, and closing all projects.
- Create partnerships at all levels of the organization including onsite and offsite leaders ensure efficient operations and address facility matters.
- Develop dashboards, analytics, and analysis to support operations and initiatives.
- Manage all lease administration including notices, amendments, and other documents.
- Develop and maintain relationship with key vendors and landlords, driving optimal performance.
- Travel 50%, as needed.
Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience in Facilities Management and demonstrated leadership managing teams at multiple locations, including De Novo locations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong written, verbal, negotiation, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience developing reporting on function status and areas for improvement
- Ability to be creative and develop out-of-the box solutions and to work with abstract concepts to develop strategies and opportunities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
