Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET)

We are currently looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our dedicated team.

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our quality assurance efforts, designing and implementing automated testing frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to enhance our testing practices and contribute to the overall success of our platform.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality across our suite of products.
• Design and implement testing frameworks for new features and integrations.
• Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
• Execute and evaluate automated tests, identifying and documenting defects properly.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on testability and implementation frameworks.
• Continuously improve the test automation process and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to discussions on testing strategies and processes.

Essential Requirements:

• Extensive experience in test automation with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of API testing, including REST and SOAP protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum/Kanban environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Proactive attitude towards quality assurance and a passion for continuous improvement.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in mentoring or training other team members in test automation practices.
• Understanding of security testing principles and practices.
