Overview
The Principal Information Security Access Control Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating Identity and Access Management, Governance and Privileged Access systems and solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying, analyzing, and resolving systems design weaknesses, prioritizing troubleshooting efforts, and pinpointing resolutions to complex issues surrounding access to systems. Other responsibilities may include monitoring and maintenance of IAM systems, training and communication of (IAM) processes, and advising on IAM solutions and best practices. Job focuses on gathering and interpreting data, documenting business requirements, defining, and documenting processes (process flows/swim lanes), and standardization of data and processes. Must have the ability to analyze internal and external risk, proposing/solutioning best practice in all Identity Access Management functional areas. This position identifies and designs opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize data and/or processes to meet or exceed security standards and policies, as well as create business requirements documents and functional specs for use in building a technical solution through configuration or coding as the individual progresses through the job levels. This position will also assist in the execution of the corporate information security strategy, work to meet security objectives and respond to company-wide identity security issues and events. The ideal candidate will be proactive, take initiative, and possess an exceptional understanding and subject matter expertise in Identity Access Management, Identity Governance, and enterprise solution delivery of Access Controls.
Specialized Skills & Technologies
- Identity Access Management, Access Controls and Best Practices
- Identity Governance and Administration tools (Saviynt preferred)
- Detailed understanding of other IAM tools and solutions (MFA, Security Token Services, SAML, ADFS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of other PAM tools and solutions (CyberArk PAM Solutions required)
- Strong firsthand knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, networks, security, programming, server administration, and Helpdesk operations
- Working knowledge of security controls in cloud IAM solutions (AWS, GCP, AAD)
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of information security standards and procedures for IAM
- Collaborate with other teams and business partners regarding Identity and Access Management best practices for both on premise and cloud-based solutions for employees, contractors, partners and customers
- Formulate documentation
- Create functional specs based on requirements gathering
- Recommend and implement enhancements to optimize identity security controls performance and effectiveness
- Point of contact for IAM project objectives and scope deliverables
- Submit reports to the relevant department heads and management
- Create and maintain relevant security metrics
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 4 or more years of experience in IAM, Privileged Access Management, and Identity Governance
- Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Identity Access Management, Access Controls and Best Practices
- Identity Governance and Administration tools (Saviynt preferred)
- Detailed understanding of other IAM tools and solutions (MFA, Security Token Services, SAML, ADFS, etc.)
- Working knowledge of other PAM tools and solutions (CyberArk PAM Solutions required)
