Electronic Warfare Sr. Software Engineer - USAF

Responsibilities

We are hiring a Electronic Warfare Sr. Software Engineer - USAF. This work will be performed at Robins AFB, GA.

 

What you'll do:

• Develop Software for the Mission Data and EASTE
• Investigate new threat systems and provide tools for data extraction
• Support ALQ-161 system test
• Support Pulse Scan Generator (PSG) test events
• Support ground based outdoor and indoor testing
• Provide engineering support during system level test events
• Assist in the resolution of vertical testability issues
• Conduct sustainment studies on hardware supportability
• Interface with Program Offices, operations, maintenance, and technical personnel as required

 

Qualifications

8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, In lieu of degree, 12 years of applicable expeirence will be acceptable. 

 

What you'll need:

• 6 years’ experience working in a government controlled software development environment
• With a minimum of 4 years experience with the B-1B and AN/ALQ-161A.
• 5 years’ experience working special test equipment designed for flight-line test environments
• Background in avionics testing and evaluation
• Experience with any of: C/C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, SQL, .NET, ASP.NET 
• An active Secret Security Clearance, which requires a US citizen 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working both indoor and outdoor EW testing events
• Teamwork, collaboration and leadership skills
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills
• Personnel management, communication and influencing skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationship

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
