GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

Plan, organize and implement program goals and activities
- Teach the assigned classes of students in the clinical setting according to the overall goals and objectives of the program, advancing the students’ knowledge of the subject matter.
- Adhere to clinical schedule.
- Evaluate and provide student feedback according to guidelines.
- Communicate with program Directors/Dean.
- Comply with policy and procedures of Hinds Community College and clinical agency.
- Complete all required clinical agency training.
This is a part-time clinical adjunct position. Pay is hourly. Hours vary based on program needs. Typically, clinical is two (2) days per week- Mon/Tues or Wed/ Thurs or Sat/Sun. Must be willing to work all scheduled clinical days to be considered for position.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
An Associate's degree in Nursing and a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse. Medical/Surgical experience preferred. BSN or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license to practice in Mississippi.
Must satisfy a criminal history background check, drug screen, and other clinical requirements.
