HybridWe are seeking a highly motivated Program Quality Engineer to join our team, supporting Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) programs and customers. This exciting role offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity from one of our key locations in Santa Isabel, PR, Windsor Locks, CT, Rome, NY, or Phoenix, AZ. As a Program Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for EACS programs, engaging with customers, and driving continuous improvement. What You will do
Function as a liaison between the customer and Collins Aerospace for quality concerns.
Participate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive resolution of quality issues which may impact product performance and/or delivery results.
Lead RCCA investigations to meet contractual and Collins requirements; execute to burn-down plans.
Pursuits analysis (inclusive of initial quality plans and compliance matrix development).
Communicate improvement plans and progress to the organization and customers to improve internal and customer metrics.
Support Internal and Customer audits.
Engage with assigned teams for internal / external program activities/ reviews (meeting preparation and data analysis).
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in customer relations or project management within the aerospace industry, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience in developing quality plans and compliance matrices, preferably within the aerospace sector.
Familiarity with internal and external auditing processes, including relevant standards (e.g., AS9100), and experience in audit preparation and execution.
Experience in program management or cross functional coordination with strong skills in meeting facilitation, data analysis, and presentation.
