We are seeking a highly motivated Program Quality Engineer to join our team, supporting Environmental & Airframe Control Systems (EACS) programs and customers. This exciting role offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity from one of our key locations in Santa Isabel, PR, Windsor Locks, CT, Rome, NY, or Phoenix, AZ. As a Program Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for EACS programs, engaging with customers, and driving continuous improvement. What You will do 

  • Function as a liaison between the customer and Collins Aerospace for quality concerns. 

  • Participate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive resolution of quality issues which may impact product performance and/or delivery results. 

  • Lead RCCA investigations to meet contractual and Collins requirements; execute to burn-down plans. 

  • Pursuits analysis (inclusive of initial quality plans and compliance matrix development). 

  • Communicate improvement plans and progress to the organization and customers to improve internal and customer metrics. 

  • Support Internal and Customer audits. 

  • Engage with assigned teams for internal / external program activities/ reviews (meeting preparation and data analysis). 

 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. 

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. 

 

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Experience in customer relations or project management within the aerospace industry, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in developing quality plans and compliance matrices, preferably within the aerospace sector. 

  • Familiarity with internal and external auditing processes, including relevant standards (e.g., AS9100), and experience in audit preparation and execution. 

  • Experience in program management or cross functional coordination with strong skills in meeting facilitation, data analysis, and presentation.
