Job Description

We are looking for a Wafer Process Technician (Wet Chemical Process/Photolithography) to join our wafer fab of Opto Diode Corporation, an ITW Company in Camarillo, CA. As a Wafer Process Technician, you will perform simple and routine works in the wet-chemical process and photolithography areas during wafer fabrication manufacturing. This position includes hands-on, single-wafer processing as well as the operation of production-oriented, semi-automated semiconductor processing tools. This position requires a candidate that is able to work their shift within a cleanroom with focused activities - wafer cleaning, photoresist stripping, metal liftoff, wet etching, basic analytical testing, measurement, and data entry.

Responsibilities:

• Required safety training to have a basic understanding of chemical safety and handling
• Learn and become familiar with manufacturing/engineering processes in wet processing and photolithography and stay informed of any changes in procedures
• Cross-training of different job functions is required
• Coordinate with a supervisor or engineers on wafer evaluations

Pay Range: $17.70-$20.80

Qualifications

• Minimum education with a high school diploma or equivalent is required
• No experience necessary but prefer semiconductor work-related background (cleanroom, wafer fabrication, etc.)
• Committed, attentive, positive, multi-tasking attitude, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, gowning up in coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses, and gloves
• Ability to learn basic manufacturing procedures and use of wafer fabrication tools
• Ability to remain in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and required documentation
• Ability to learn fundamental Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and have basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate and effectively work with others on cross-functional teams
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident
