About the role

JOB SUMMARY

Summer Peer Mentors will support the successful transition of incoming freshmen participating in the Summer Institute.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead small group activities and discussions to promote community building and student engagement.

Attend and assist with all Summer Institute programming, including academic workshops, orientation sessions, and social events.

 

FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT

NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a current undergraduate RISE SSS student, preferably sophomore standing or above.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Availability to attend all training sessions and the full Summer Institute program

Must be enrolled at least half-time for Fall 2025

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Current RISE SSS Student, comfortable using Teams for communication and activities.
